MyOEBase (“we”, “us”) operates myoebase.com. This notice explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have. We keep it deliberately short and plain.
What we collect
- Enquiry data — the name, company, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, vehicle details (such as VIN) and message content you submit through our contact form, by email or by WhatsApp.
- Quote and order data — billing and shipping addresses, company and tax details, order history and payment references needed to fulfil a contract.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through cookies and analytics tools to keep the site working and understand which products people look for.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry, confirm fitment and prepare a quotation.
- To process and deliver orders, and to provide technical support afterwards.
- To meet accounting, tax and customs obligations.
- To improve the website and, where you have agreed, to send occasional product updates. You can ask us to stop at any time.
Who we share it with
Only where necessary to run our business: couriers and freight forwarders (to deliver your order), payment providers and banks (to process payment), our email and hosting providers, and analytics services. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to serve you and to maintain a commercial record; order and accounting records are kept for the period required by Chinese tax and commercial law. You may ask us to delete enquiry data that has no contractual or legal purpose.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to receive it in a portable format.
